Why Sapiens Clinic ?

In our Sapiens clinic, facility is one of the few in India staffed by highly skilled surgeons able to treat a wide range of hand and eye conditions using cutting-edge medical technology. This facility is also one of the few in the globe to offer a comprehensive range of services in both orthopaedics (hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery) and ophthalmology (eye care), including ophthalmic plastic surgery, trauma care, eyelid reconstructive surgeries, orbital surgeries, lacrimal surgeries, ophthalmic oncology, and facial cosmetic procedures.

Hand Surgery

TFCC Tears

Triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) rips on the ulnar side of the wrist cause discomfort and reduced grip strength

Scaphoid Fractures

Scaphoid fractures are a kind of wrist fracture. They occur when the scaphoid bone, a tiny bone at the base of the thumb, is broken.

Scaphoid Fractured Nonunion

Scaphoid fractures often go undetected because their symptoms are mild. Missed scaphoid fractures have a significant probability of nonunion or malunion. Untreated occult fractures cause nonunion.

Distal Radius Fracture

When the radius, one of the forearm’s two long bones, fractures near the wrist, it’s called a distal radius fracture. Radius fractures are the most frequent arm bone fractures.

Elbow Replacement / Arthroplasty

Elbow replacement surgery replaces broken elbow joints with implants. This is also known as elbow arthroplasty.

Elbow Arthroscopy

Elbow arthroscopy diagnoses and treats joint issues. In arthritis, sports injuries, fractures, and infections, it may reduce pain and increase movement.

Stiff Elbow

When the elbow’s range of motion is restricted, it’s called a stiff elbow, or elbow contracture. Elbow stiffness restricts arm rotation, object picking, and elbow bending and straightening.

Shoulder Surgery Services

Brachial Plexus (Adult & Pediatric)

The brachial plexus sends spinal cord impulses to the shoulder, arm, and hand. Stretching, crushing, or pulling these nerves causes brachial plexus injuries.

Shoulder Instability

The shoulder’s glenohumeral joint has the largest range of motion and is the most unstable. Shoulder instability results from the humeral head translation on the glenoid fossa.

Rotator Cuff Surgeries

Scaphoid fractures often go undetected because their symptoms are mild. Missed scaphoid fractures have a significant probability of nonunion or malunion. Untreated occult fractures cause nonunion.

Distal Radius Fracture

Shoulder tendon repair is rotator cuff surgery. Shoulder arthroscopy or open surgery may be used. Rotator cuff muscles and tendons create a shoulder cuff.

Shoulder Replacement

A shoulder replacement is a procedure that tries to get rid of pain and dysfunction by replacing damaged parts of the shoulder joint with artificial parts called prostheses.

Shoulder Tendor Transfer

Tendon transfers may restore muscular function after nerve or muscle/tendon unit damage. Spasticity from central nervous system damage may be corrected via tendon transfers.

Opthamology

Glaucoma Screening

Glaucoma causes optic nerve and retinal nerve fibre layer damage. Glaucoma frequently has high intraocular pressure (IOP). Untreated, it might cause irreparable blindness.

Catract Surgery

Cataract surgery replaces cloudy lenses with clear prosthetics. Replacement lenses are intraocular. Keep it. Some eye conditions limit artificial lens usage. Eyeglasses or contacts may help after cataract surgery.

Oculplasty

Eyelid Swellings, Post Trauma Eyelid Repairs

Comprehensive Health Checkup

Eyelid Swellings, Post Trauma Eyelid Repairs

Diabetic Retinopathy Screening

A comprehensive dilated eye screening may reveal diabetic retinopathy. Drops dilate pupils for this examination. Drops blur near vision for hours. Eye doctor will examine for abnormalities inside and out.
